Naming conventions

Something of note, this page does not follow its own convention that the second and subsequent words of a title be lowercased. --Mariokoli Mianana 06:00, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Well . . . did you really expect it to? This is CCP, after all! (Joking, ISD! Joking!)

But, yeah. And the disambig help pages gives as an example a page that is not a disambig . . . I guess that's why this is a beta. --Garion Avarr 06:03, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

I tought the Nc tag would fit the article but i slapped it in here instead as the article is locked ^.^ BlackSmith Sisunautti 08:09, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Issue solved, removed NC tag. BlackSmith Sisunautti 17:11, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

The global naming convention issue is currently looked at. We had to move away from conventional wikipedia naming conventions because of the autolinker behavior. I agree the actual solution is not perfect, and we would like to see the autolinker fixed. However, this is not coming anytime soon for the time being, and we are thinking of easy/best fixes. --ISD Elumiel 13:57, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

So if the autolinker breaks the principles of mediawiki, why it is not removed or disabled until it gets fixed? The autolinker now does more harm than good by forcing for naming conventions that are against mediawiki ideology and when have you seen it last do any autolinking that would have been _usefull_ ? Seariously, the autolinker is doing more harm over all to wiki than helping few new editors. BlackSmith Sisunautti 21:19, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
