Band of Brothers (BoB) is one of the major 0.0 powers in eve. BoB's behaviour is aggressive and openly expansionist. The alliance has attacked many of 0.0 space's major alliances.

At present the BoB is comprised of six major corporations, Black Eclipse Corp (BNCE), Black Nova Corp (BNC), Destructive Influence (DICE), Evolution (EVOL), FinFleet (FINFL) and Reikoku (RKK), as well as several smaller support corporations. The alliance holds three regions: Delve and Period Basis and Querious.

BoB has a large number of allies who fight alongside the alliance in its wars and live in BoB's space. This coalition is known as the Greater BoB Community (GBC).

General History

The Band of Brothers alliance was first formed in 2004 by 5 corporations, Arcane Technologies UK (ATUK), Evolution, Reikoku Rough Necks (RN)and m0o corp(m0o)[1]. These corporations were joined afterwards by Black Nova Corporation, Destructive Influence and FinFleet.

Initially, the alliance was named C.C.C.P. which stood for Cookies, Cake, Cream and Pie. The alliance name was changed to BoB after resistance from the real CCP.

BoB formed in the aftermath of the Great Northern War in which the founding corporations defeated Phoenix Alliance, then a major power. The alliance moved to Delve, where it settled and has remained ever since. Using Delve as a base, BoB and its allies attacked many major alliances, expanding its teritory significantly.

In early 2007, BoB announced its intention to conquer all of 0.0 space. This triggered the Great War in which the majority of the 0.0 population not allied to BoB to form a large coalition with the intention of removing BoB from 0.0. The Coalition forced BoB back into Delve where BoB fought a successful defensive action halting the coalition. Having had its progress checked, the coalition broke apart leaving BoB to retake Period Basis and Querious.

BoB then began the MAX campaign, a policy of attacking other alliances with the intention of inflicting maximum damage before withdrawing.

War History

"The Pendulum War"

See main article: The Pendulum War

On September 28, 2006, BoB declared war and in a campaign lasting several weeks decisively defeated ASCN. This led to ASCN disbanding in early 2007.

"The Great War"

See main article: The Great War

Following on from The Pendulum War, the GBC continued to attack into former LV and -V- territory, fighting against the RSF. This led eventually to almost all other major 0.0 entities, grouped under the name "Coalition" and "Tortuga", fighting against the GBC and pushing them back to "Fortress Delve" after BoB themselves abandoned the regions to the south and west of the great divide between Delve/ Querious and Stain/Paragon Soul. The campaign ended in early 2008, with the anti-GBC forces unable to break GBC resistance in Delve and moving back home. The GBC then retook Querious and Period Basis. In that process they destroyed the newly formed alliance called "Tortuga".

MAX Campaign, GBC, and The Northern Wars

In mid July 2008, BoB made the announcement of intentions to once again become involved in warfare within the North. Defending forces in the region included the Imperial Republic of the North (IRON), Morsus Mihi (MM), Mostly Harmless (MH), and RAZOR Alliance combined with various smaller alliances.

BoB started off in Pure Blind where they destroyed many RA moon mining POS and replaced them with their own. The income from these various r64 moons would fuel the majority of the future MAX campaign. Red Alliance disintegrated into a shadow if it's former self in the weeks following these events. BoB then focused on the Deklein against IRON, where they found quick success in capturing regional sovereignty. IRON and it's allies were not able withstand pressure from the GBC and was forcefully removed from nullsec space. BoB then moved on to Tribute where they engaged the remainder of the Northern Coalition, including Morsus Mihi and RAZOR Alliance and later on Pandemic Legion, Goonswarm and various other alliance that were in some shape or form connected to the "Coalition" of the Great War. Morsus Mihi put up a lot more of a fight together with their allies and even though they lost the systems of M-OEE8 and E-O in Tribute, they managed to hold on to their sov4 constellations due to persistence and smart use of their capital fleet under cyno jammers. This conflict also saw many large scale capital fights that gave a bloody nose to both sides, where in different instances one side or the other held the field. The war between the two sides led to some of the heaviest losses in the history of EVE, including 4 Titan class star ship losses and countless control tower and battleship losses. Shrike also claims to be the first pod pilot ever to have a Titan class ship reimbursed, this is yet to be confirmed by CCP! In the end, the Northern Coalition's determination paid off, as the majority of the GBC eventually left the area.

Great Wildlands, Scalding Pass

After they left the north, BoB has turned it's eye to the eastern region of Scalding Pass. Scalding Pass is currently held by Goonswarm. This new war could combine current wars in the south to form one of the largest collection of players involved in any war, involving Against ALL Authorities (AAA), BoB, Goonswarm (GS), Red Alliance (RA), SOLAR FLEET, Tau Ceti Federation (TCF), and xXDEATHXx.
