Zzz Alliance

Zzz Alliance is the largest and oldest public research alliance.

How to get started

All you need to do is create your alt/s and a corporation of your choice. Then apply to join Zzz Alliance (bottom of the list) in the corporation tab (alliance > rankings > sort by name)

• You may also use your main's corp.

How much does it cost

• 50k per job, plus 14k per hour for standard slots
• 400k per job plus 11k/hour for mid-term slots
• 1.75 million per job plus 5k/hour for long-term slots

How long does it take to make long-term slots worth it?

105 hours or 3days 9 hours.

Research Alt Creation

Designing your character:

1. Choose Caldari
2. Choose Achura
3. Choose any gender
4. Assign stats to +3 int , +2 mem
5. Choose Inventors
6. Choose Industry
7. Choose Engineer
8. Choose Entrepreneur
9. Make your pretty picture

You should now have the following relevant skills by default:

Laboratory Operations V (Control 6 slots)

Research III (15% bonus to research production efficiency speed)

Science III (15% faster copying time, also pre-requisite skill)

Thus far, we have needed zero training time, and have been born with 802,000 skill points. At this point, your nerdy looking character will be born in Lonetrek, and have a afk trip to take to whichever of our tower locations is most convenient for you (make sure to select ‘prefer safer’ in map controls).

After this, you will need to purchase the following skills, or obtain from the local market when you arrive.

Corporation Management - 10,000 isk

Scientific Networking – 6.75m isk

Metallurgy – 315,000 isk

(These can be bought from startup station before you depart, and training can begin en route)

Within 1 day, 18 hours you have the capability to control 6 Laboratory slots, that will research 10% faster than an npc station, without the queues.

For those who want to maximise Alt efficiency, you can purchase the Advanced Laboratories skill for 20 million isk, and within a further 24 hours you will be able to run a further 3 lab slots (or 9 in total)
