--Mot Redat 09:22, 11 December 2008 (UTC) The page says that only recon probes are used to probe ships. This is wrong. Scan probes can be used as well. Yes, they take longer and you should use the correct racial sensor strength type, but they have a much higher chance to find a specific ship in a mission.

It's an old guide, when it was published in EON the Deadspace change had not been implemented yet. Also it's mostly aimed at being a newbie guide that won't focus so much on the more advanced stuff and as it was written for EON magazine there where also a word limit. I will write a new updated guide but it will have to wait until after x-mas.--Hoshi 18:23, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
