Band of Brothers houses 11 main corporations: Black Eclipse Corp, Black Nova Corp, Destructive Influence, Evolution, Finfleet, GettingADeathSquad, Keiretsu, Reikoku, Relentless Construction, TAOSP, and Umbrage Inc..

General History

Band of Brothers <BOB> is an alliance first formed in 2004 by the joining of 3 corporations: Reikoku, Evolution and Black Nova Corp. SirMolle was known as the founder and alliance leader. The alliance was formed shortly after the Great Northern War, and proceeded to find their home in the regions Delve and Period Basis, expanding at times to surround regions of Querious after the fall of Firmus Ixion in 2005. In 2006, BoB also expanded to the regions of Paragon Soul and Feythabolis during The Great War against Ascendant Frontier (ASCN). BoB has been involved in many wars across the universe, including major campaigns in both the North and the South.

War History

"The Great War"

In September 2006, Band of Brothers (BoB) declared war on Ascendant Frontier (ASCN). Because of the shear size of the two alliances, the conflict soon became known as The Great War, involving over 1,000 players in the EVE universe. The area of conflict was three southern regions: Period Basis, Paragon Soul, and Feythabolis.

"The reasons for selecting ASCN as the target were stated and restated, and will be once more. ASCN were the biggest and most likely to offer the best challenge, while keeping us occupied the longest. In theory, the unstoppable force versus the unmovable object. D2 almost had it, but morphed itself into a defensive alliance. The choice came down to fighting ASCN or mini-ASCN. All opposing claims were either misinformed, or fictional." --Sir Molle, Evolution Corp

Even though initial reports were calling for an 8-12 month long war, neither side was willing to drag this conflict out for longer than needed. Both sides poured billions of ISK into the war in the hopes of completely wiping out the opposing side. In the end, it took BoB less then 12 weeks to achieve victory in all three regions. ASCN suffered heavy losses, including the first player owned Titan loss. The estimated cost of the war is over 1.7 trillion ISK between the two alliances. The defeat suffered by ASCN eventually led to it's dismemberment. In 2007, ASCN officially broke up and has not reformed since.

"In conclusion, it took four weeks to break ASCN's will to fight, three weeks to conquer Paragon Soul, and four weeks to conquer Feythabolis. War quickly degraded to POS bashing and ganks as BoB went head to head with Strontium Clathrates, but a few memorable battles were had." --Sir Molle, Evolution Corp

MAX Campaign, GBC, and The Northern Wars

In mid July 2008, BoB made the annoucement of intentions to once again become involved in warfare witihin the Northern regions of Deklein, Fade, Pure Blind, and Tribute. Initial speculation stated that BoB's intentions were to make way for their ally Triumvirate. (TRI). Defending forces in the region included the Imperial Republic of the North (IRON), Morsus Mihi (MM), Mostly Harmless (MH), and RAZOR Alliance.

BoB started off in Deklein against IRON, where they found quick success in capturing regional sovereignty. IRON was not able to withstand preasure from the much larger alliance and was forced to fall back to regroup. BoB then moved on to Tribute where they engaged the remainder of the Northern Coalition, including Morsus Mihi and RAZOR Alliance. Unlike the previous campaigns, BoB found trouble in the Northern Coalition. Able to match BoB in strength and determination, the Northern Coalition would not step down against the massive capital fleets and intended to fight until the end. In response to this growing threat, BoB formed a task force known as the GBC, or greater BoB community. The allies called in involved Digital Renegades, Executive Outcomes, Goodfellas, Skunkworks, and Triumvirate.. The war between the two sides led to some of the heaviest losses in the history of EVE, including 4 Titan class starship losses and countless control tower and battleship losses. In the end, the Northern Coalition's determination paid off, as they pushed the majority of the GBC out of the area. Some remnants remain in Tribute, including mainly Goodfellas and Triumvirate. forces.

Great Wildlands, Scalding Pass

After their pullout in the North, BoB has turned it's eye to the eastern region of Scalding Pass. Scalding Pass is currently held by Goonswarm, but is rumored to be on the auction block. This new war could combine current wars in the south to form one of the largest collection of players involved in any war, involving Against ALL Authorities (AAA), BoB, Goonswarm (GS), Red Alliance (RA), SOLAR FLEET, Tau Ceti Federation (TCF), and xXDEATHXx.
