Ghost Festival is a dedicated roleplay corporation for characters in service to the Angel Cartel, an organization of breathtaking ruthlessness and brutality engaged in criminal activities from drug manufacture to slavery and prostitution, yet also having the most cosmopolitan, multi-ethnic culture of any faction in New Eden. Possessing technology rumored to have been salvaged from the remnants of a fallen Jovian empire, the Cartel is the largest and most powerful criminal syndicate in the cluster.
The Cartel has recently suffered at the hands of capsuleers, and Ghost Festival is an experimental project operating under the watchful eye of the Dominations to see whether pod pilots, the bane of conventional vessels, can be made brought into service to the Cartel as more than mere mercenaries. Following the collapse of PRETA's first incarnation as a purely combat-oriented organization, it has regrouped under new leadership in the person of its former second-in-command, Aria Jenneth, and is taking a more comprehensive approach to its rebuilding, seeking to excel in all aspects of spacebourne life. Currently Myrhial Arkenath is the acting CEO while Aria has retired from this position to focus fully on being the liason between PRETA and the Dominations.
The goal is to establish a functional microcosm of the Cartel, with industrial, scientific, and trading activities supporting a solid core of combat pilots. Once successful, this project will spread its activities from lowsec into null, its ultimate goal being to establish a permanent presence in and eventually dominate the capsuleer society of the Angel Cartel's home region, Curse.
