Dartonias Sirion

Currently a member of Kings of Eden corporation and CEO of Sev3rance Alliance.

Individually he specializes in trade, POS reactions, and flying logistics ships.

On an alliance scale he specializes in alliance logistics, diplomacy, and managing alliance policy and taxation for the maintenance of Sev3rance.

As a hobby, he hopes to learn and catalogue all the nuanced game mechanics of EVE.

Early Game

Dartonias began as a Caldari pod pilot and mission runner for the Caldari Navy. After a few days of work he scoured the public boards for a corporation to join and the KINGS OF EDEN, being lead at the time by Namelessness.

Upon joining Dartonias continued running missions for the Caldari Navy until the first major conflict against Haunted House corporation when they declared war against KINGS OF EDEN. This was his first introduction to organized PVP, and Haunted House proved a good foe in terms of size and ability to him and the young corporation.

Moving Up

After establishing some assets as a mission runner, Dartonias expanded into Trade as a means of income. He also took position as the diplomat of Kings of Eden, typically interacting with hostile corps that were looking at declaring war on the corporation.

After the corp grew in High Sec, it applied (and soon left) The Threshold, and then applied to Sev3rance while moving to operate in NRDS Providence. Many members quickly moved to the region to taste something new, including Dartonias. Through several weeks of working with Sev3ranec, KINGS OF EDEN was finally admitted to the alliance.

Providence

At the time when KINGS OF EDEN was accepted to Sev3rance, their current CEO Namelessness was away from game for an extended period. Through petition Dartonias was made CEO of the corporation to accept the corps application to join the alliance. When Namelessness returned, he officially passed on the CEO title to the newly appointed Dartonias, who was accepted in a general election by the corporation.

During their time in Providence Dartonias was active in all aspects of Sev3rance, eventually taking up the position of alliance secratary and developing the taxation system used to support the additional costs of the new sov system implemented by CCP at the time.

After the invasion of Providence by AAA, he moved with Sev3rance to high sec and eventually to Tribute and Pure blind when the alliance became a guest of Morsus Mihi in the Northern Coalition.

Time in the North

When Sev3rance moved to the North, Dartonias took a more active role in leadership, acting as co-CEO of the alliance. From here he instituted a more comprehensive Moon Taxation system, essentially ensuring alliance ownership of all the moons in Sev3rance space while allowing corporations to keep the value added by the processing of Moon goo.

The taxation system attempted to balance out the activity of more or less industrial groups by taxing them relative to their income, while expenditures were spent on the upkeep of sov, new upgrades and PVP replacement.

Dartonias maintained the position of co-CEO through Sev3rance's time in the North, as they moved east to Vale, and as they eventually left the Northern Coalition during the DRF invasion.

Return to Providence

With the dispersion of the NC proper, Sev3rance parted from the North and is currently working to assist CVA in the reclamation of Providence. Although FuriousPig (the previous CEO of Sev3rance) is still active, with this move Dartonias accepted this his role was that of CEO of Sev3rance.

Real Life

Dartonias live in central Canada as a PhD student studying theoretical condensed matter physics.
