Cruise Missiles are large guided munitions used by Cruise Missile Launchers.
Cruise Launchers can be fitted by Battleships. Prior to Apocrypha 1.1, Stealth Bombers also used Cruise Launchers.
Cruise Missile damage can be affected by ship capabilities, Ballistic Control Systems, skills and type of cruise missiles.
Faction cruise missiles tend to deal more damage than basic types.
Precision cruise missiles (eg; Wrath Precision Missile) tend to have lower damage overall, and lower flight time (hence lower range), but are more nimble.
Tech II missiles deal more damage and have a higher explosion radius.
Faction and Tech II variants are more expensive than base level cruise missiles.
