The YC Calendar is the universal calendar of the New Eden cluster under the CONCORD treaties that govern Eve Standard Time. YC stands for "Yoiul Conference", the conference between the five empires of New Eden (Amarr, Minmatar, Caldari, Gallente and Jove) that led to the forming of CONCORD, held on the Jovian battleship Yoiul.
Year 0 of the YC Calendar corresponds to the year of the conference and respective treaties (23236 A.D. in the EVE Timeline). YC 105 correlates to 2003 (23340 A.D. in the future), the year of Eve Online's launch. The current year (2010) is YC 112.
The YC calendar follows the modern Gregorian calendar for months and days, reconstructed after several debates for a standard calendar.
Alternate Calendars

Before YC, the different empires would have had their own calendars. The only one identified in official backstory is AR, Age of Rouvenor (Year 1 AR = 21714 A.D.). AR is named after the Rouvenor dynasty of monarchs that ruled the Gallente civilization long before democracy and the Federation came to power, created by Doule Dos Rouvenor III, the second of the dynasty.
The Gregorian A.D. calendar is used to refer to dates prior to YC 1.
