Can someone change

"A result was got, there is a Cosmic Signature of some sort in the system."

to

"The scan produced a result, indicating that a Cosmic Signature of some sort is present in the system"

Or something less... crappy.--Chrome Tsunami 11:15, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

-lateration vs. -angulation

I'd just like to point out that the new system uses quadrilateration (ie, using distances to find locations) instead of trianguation (ie, using angles to find locations), like is mentioned multiple times on this page.

Actually, I think its Trilateration, not quadrilateration

Two Pages?

This page seemed to have popped up. Is it really necessary to have this page with http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Exploration:_Apocrypha already in existence? I suggest someone goes and merges this page with the other one. --Pennwisedom 17:23, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Missing section on how to center the screen.

I still haven't figured out how to reliably center the map on a certain point to enable easy screen rotation. Can you please add something like that?

  • Clicking on a celestial object centers on the object. Also, clicking on the probe label next to the probe, centers on that probe. --Nareg Maxence 17:49, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Cosmic signatures are no longer within 4 AU from a planet

According to comments by CCP Prism X here

http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1022106&page=1#12

and here

http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1022106&page=1#21

the distance to nearest planet now depends on the type of signature and can be more that 4 AU away. --Nareg Maxence 17:46, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Removed the misleading info. --ISD BH Lenider 21:32, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
