For my knowledge all gates in low sec have guns? So reason to warp to station is that you can dock, not that there is guns.
Webbing actually helps you to warp faster if you're in slow stabbed hauler, which might just blow up even if stabbed before it could warp without webbing. Meaning stabs dont necessarily help you in any way if you just blow up before you warp. :)
