Overview

Projet Theta attempts to create new Capsuleer technology by studying Rogue Drone materials. This includes ships, AI-cores, modules and rigs. Project Theta does not intend to create destructive technology, but rather a set base for future inventions. The goals of the Project will be fulfilled by studying known Rogue Drone technology and finding new unknown ones, and reverse-engineering them. A special interest of the project are Spatial Rifts, and the forces that operate them.

Devices

Comm Override Unit

This planned device is intended to act as a safe communications medium between humans and rogue drones. It has the needed logic to encode sent and decode received the messages on the fly. It will flush it's log buffer to the nearby portable database, logging both incoming and outgoing transmissions as plain text. Executable commands and images will be saved in Base64. This item must be fit to a ship. My estimations indicate it will need a medium-power output connection, and draw around eighty megawatts after activation. The activation cost is estimated to be around thirty gigajoules. Estimated volume is ten cubic meters.

Material list so far determined: Drone capillary fluid, drone synaptic relay wiring, drone transceiver, logic circuits, ANN, micro circuits, power circuits and conduit, tritanium, pyerite, binary transpositional code,

Portable database

This is a planned back-end unit meant soley for intermediary data storage. It is accessed remotely by the station-side unit for analysis, and by the comm override unit as a secondary storage medium. This item needs to be fit to a ship. My estimations indicate it will need a high-power output connection, and draw around one hundred ten megawatts after coming online. Estimated volume is two hundred cubic meters.

Material list so far determined: Drone capillary fluid, drone synaptic relay wiring, drone transceiver, logic circuits, micro circuits, power circuits and conduit, consumer electronics, tritanium, pyerite

Station-side system core

This unit, while "portable" is meant to operate from within a station. It will read and pull data from the portable databases for processing. It also functions as a comm override unit. Estimated volume is thrity cubic kilometers. This system is the heart of the isolated comm system. It should be noted that we may need CONCORD approval to activate this device within Empire, Republic, State, and Federation space.

Material list so far determined: Drone capillary fluid, drone synaptic relay wiring, drone transceiver, logic circuits, ANN, micro circuits, power circuits and conduit, corporate electronics, tritanium, pyerite
