Escalation - Mindflood

First Escalation

"While fighting the last defenders of this hideout, you noticed three of their ships warp out and disappear from radar. Your navigational computer has had a few minutes now to mull over the data they left and has come up with a probable destination in case you want to chase them."

You warp in to 1x Serpentis frigate, 4x Serpentis destroyers and possibly 1x Shadow Serpentis frigate. When you activate the Newly Constructed Acceleration Gate it takes you to the next room where you see Elgur Erinn and two frigates warp away.

Second Escalation

"It seems like the weird sound once in a while coming from your left dashboard is not from the navigation computer after all, at least it seems to have calculated the whereabouts of these Serpentis frigates pretty accurately. Not accurately enough though, as they warp out as soon as you enter space. Luckily your instruments manage to come up with a best approximation for their next destination."

You warp in to 3x Serpentis frigates, 4x Serpentis destroyers and 1x Shadow Serpentis frigate. Once you activate the Newly Constructed Acceleration Gate it takes you to the next room where you see Elgur Erinn and two frigates warp away. You may also receive the escalation notice when you destroy the Shadow Serpentis frigate.

Third Escalation

"Again you warp in to far and the Serpentis Ships slip away into space. Luckily they leave a predictable path."

You warp in to 3x Serpentis frigates, 3x Serpentis destroyers and 1x Shadow Serpentis frigate. Once you activate the Newly Constructed Acceleration Gate it takes you to the next room where you see Elgur Erinn and two frigates. Elgur Erinn warps away, but you fight 2x Coreli Spy. Upon killing them, you may receive the escalation. You may also receive the escalation notice when you destroy the Shadow Serpentis frigate before the gate.

Fourth Escalation

"While fighting the two ships you managed to catch up with, the third one got away. Your instruments give no clue as to where it was headed, but just before it vanished, you picked up a distress signal from it, containing this location... "

You warp in to 6x Serpentis Destroyers and 4x Serpentis frigates. Surrounding an Abandoned Shipyard. After those are destroyed, 3x more Serpentis frigates show up. After those are destroyed, Elgur Erinn finally shows up. Once he is destroyed, the expedition is complete. Destroying the Abandoned Shipyard drops nothing.

I received two Coreli C-Type modules and one Shadow Serpentis module from Elgur Erinn's wreck.

"Obviously the distress signal made it through to the intended recipients, this was quite a reception. In any case, there are a bit less drug runners in space after this encounter... "
