Summary
Aggression timers have remained the same even after the big HP buff patch of way back when. This unintended consequence of the HP buff means that capitals are able to play docking.undocking games and camp stations, because they know that, unusual circumstances aside, they will always be able to re-dock safely after their aggression timer wears off.
This is mostly a problem with carriers and the Moros(before the nerf), since they can fight effectively without needing to commit to going into seige.
Solution
Increase the duration of the aggression timer for capital ships.
Pros
- capital ships are less able to exploit game mechanics to get risk-free combat
- aggression timer has an actual impact once again. with the already high HP, maybe some trimarks, the aggression timer doesn't have a lot of meaning right now.
Cons
- more dead capitals!(this is actually a Pro)
