−	~~Strategic~~ Cruisers are the only tech III ships in existence so far. Without the subsystems that can only be fitted to their highly modular structure, they are useless, as the ship itself carries no turret hardpoints, so plan for spending ALOT of money. Properly fitted, a strategic cruiser can take on battleships, yet is stuck with the name "cruiser", so many people dismiss them as useless fancy ships. I've worked with them, and two of them can hold their own on very difficult level 4 missions.
