Raana Renus is the mother of Selan and part of an Amarr Holder house. She is married to Bater and is acquainted with Bethora.
She was apparently friendly with Bethora, visiting her before the race their two sons took part in. During the race, her son Selan acted as second-in-command to Bethora's son Keral. When their ship crashed, killing Selan, Raana blamed Bethora, believing she had pressured Keral into using illegal prototype rigs that caused the ship to malfunction. Shortly after she realized that Bethora had illegally cloned her son to save his life, and was appalled by this act, especially as Keral suffered brain damage from the procedure. She later threatened to expose Bethora's heresy, though it is unknown what transpired between the two after the event.
