R.A.G.E alliance is a medium-sized 0.0 spaceholding and space-development alliance in the Vale of the Silent region, and a member of the Northern Coalition. As such, R.A.G.E acts across the range of 0.0 activities, with a strong focus on player-versus-player combat operations. The alliance prides itself on transparent and common-sense management, and teamwork.

Foundation

R.A.G.E alliance was founded by the Killer Koalas [NUKKA] and The Knights Templar [T-K-T] corporations on July 31, 2009. The two corporations had a long history of past friendships, and served together in the Intrepid Crossing [IRC] alliance during and before the IRC/ED vs. RA war, which concluded in early July 2009. R.A.G.E began formal business operations in August of 2009 under the leadership of Killer Koalas C.E.O., Reysar, and The Knights Templar C.E.O., Virak'kara, as space security contractors for the Majesta Empire [ME] alliance in which capacity R.A.G.E patrolled the Vale of the Silent region in return for access to null-sec space as ME’s “guest”. Despite having a membership of only two corporations, R.A.G.E proved themselves to be a formidable opponent to Vale incursions and a valuable ally for ME, demonstrating considerable fighting skill and a strong will to engage hostiles, both in support of ME fleets and independently.

During October 2009,Atropos [DAMN], Majesta Empire's neighbor in eastern Vale of the Silent, began to collapse from internal issues. Several Atropos. corporations, including Black Serpent Technologies [MAMBA] and Pure Annihilation [0FACE], joined R.A.G.E at the blessing of the Northern Coalition (NC) and effectively handed R.A.G.E a large number of former Atropos. systems, as well as doubling the number of R.A.G.E member corporations and pilots. Remnant corporations from Atropos. either evacuated or were evicted from Vale of the Silent and R.A.G.E had a new home in the ZLZ-1Z station system, while full NC member Wildly Inappropriate. [WI.] claimed the other former DAMN stations (LS-JEP, MGAM-4, Q3-BAY, and JZV-F4).

Pure Blind and Geminate

Over the Christmas/New Year 2009-2010 holidays Atlas Alliance [ATLAS] launched a series of escalating attacks on Wildly Inappropriate. [WI.] Geminate region holdings. At the same time, Triumvirate. [TRI] and The Initiative. [INIT.] alliances began a campaign in the Pure Blind region, in both cases through selective attacks on moon-mining towers followed by sovereignty contests and station attacks. The observed intention of the three Southern Coalition alliances was to draw the larger NC block into a two-front war.

While WI. defended their space in Geminate, R.A.G.E split its time between Vale and operations in the Pure Blind region to assist against the Triumvirate campaign. However, with the entrance of Russian SOLAR FLEET [SOLAR] and Red Alliance <RED> reinforcements for ATLAS into Geminate, Wildly Inappropriate. realized their position was untenable and sacrificed their territory to redeploy to Pure Blind.

With the collapse of the Geminate front, R.A.G.E fully deployed to the remaining front, expecting to recapture its territory with NC assistance following the inevitable ATLAS/allies assault. Vale was evacuated, except for defensive towers, in preparation for the loss of ZLZ and all combat assets moved to staging stations in Pure Blind alongside the full force of the NC. This prudent move seemed timely as ATLAS immediately began striking moon-mining towers in Vale belonging to the larger ME.

Though Triumvirate. and allies had some earlier success in Pure Blind, they expected WI and NC powerhouse RAZOR Alliance to be occupied by ATLAS for much longer, and were not prepared for the combined Northern Coalition force. TRI and friends collapsed quickly under the weight of the NC, and after dispatching their opponents R.A.G.E returned to Vale of the Silent to find all their space still secure and Atlas Alliance withdrawing, leaving only the Russian alliances in Geminate.

...and Empire

In return for the trust and sacrifice R.A.G.E exhibited to them during these campaigns, the Northern Coalition granted R.A.G.E full member status in February 2010. Wildly Inappropriate. chose not to return to eastern Vale, and ceded its stations and systems there to R.A.G.E.
