ROOTS
The exact origins of the Annwn Matar are unknown, but recently discovered fragments of a book called The Matari People's History have shed some light onto this little known culture.
RE-EMERGENCE
The Annwn Matar Tribal Settlement is growing again as the tribes cyclical reforming and disbanding has recently entered the reforming phase. Starfish Operating Syndicate has also established a testing centre there where one's blood can be checked for Annwn DNA. For the first recorded time, Annwn DNA has been found, though very rarely, in people of races other than Minmatar.
POLITCS
The Annwn Matari are loyal only to the cause of freedom, in all it's forms. For this reason they are dedicated to governance models based on consensus, and economic models following resource-based methodology.
The Annwn Matari alliance is home to the Annwn Matar people, but also opens it's doors to other oppressed peoples.
RELIGION
The Annwn Matar follow the doctrine of Dadrwym(which roughly translates as 'to set free'). Dadrwym holds at it's core that energies or 'asbri' can be 'set free' to act on each other without restraint. While the concept of 'freeing energy' is little understood outside the Annwn people, it is Dadrwym that is credited with the superiority of Annwn craftsmanship, the Annwn warriors abilities in battle, as well as being seen as the main reason the Annwn are as unpredictable as their disappearances and re-appearances as a clan.

OOC ADDENDUM
Annwn Matar is a mixed-rp alliance. Role playing is not required by the Alliance, as alliance chat is ooc, however, governing policies including diplomacy, economics and communication, are all dictated by role playing elements. Some of our corps are rp-only, and we do encourage role playing as we feel many layers of eve are missed by those that do not.
We don't have obligations on active time in the pod, EVE is for fun. We have respect and support of each other as our core values. We have people from both US and EU timezones, from a wide range of ages and locations. More info can be found in our Mission Statement.
