Note that Anomalies on appear at planets. A second easier way is to deploy a Multispectral Frequency Probe and scan the system for cosmic anomalies and after that scanning each planet independently with the On-Board Scanner or by scanning it down with probes using the [Exploration|Exploration]] mechanics.
