Insignia is a form of payment received as loot, usually from Storyline missions. They are used as a form of supplementary payment along with Loyalty Points and/or ISK in Loyalty Point Stores (LP Stores).

In game description text : Identification tags such as these may prove valuable if handed to the proper organization.

Please note : Some of the insignia are considered Illegal in some empires so before you transfer the Insignia in your cargo, make sure that where you are traveling to, the specific Insignia you are carrying are not considered illegal.
