The way it currently works is (or should work), if you make or edit a page you have roughly 15 minutes to make any more changes to it before it appears in our queue, after that it gets locked until it's approved - this is to protect people if someone goes on a spam rampage and, for example, posts lots of indecent images. We are aware that it is annoying but CCP may remove this in the future, we have no control over it. I recommend that if you are making any major edits/rewrites to a page that will take some time that you copy it into notepad or something similar so that if something goes wrong, you still have a copy of what you wrote. Depending on what browser you use as well, the "Back" button may let you view what you wrote in the text box.
