His untimely demise inevitably lead to a problem; one that many Holders in the Kor-Azor Region found themselves in. The problem that presented itself was the successor of the [[Kor-Azor Family]] — [[Doriam II|Doriam Kor-Azor]] — who already had plans for a radical land consolidation. This consolidation meant that some local [[Holder|Holders]] would lose big parts of their territory to other vassals. The Valerius Family was one of the unfortunates that saw their power and holdings greatly diminished.
