Capital Ships Classification
Simply put a capital ship is any monumentally sized ship that is simply too large to be constructed in one factory process and requires two levels of construction where the first level requires construction of specific ship parts that rival the size of most ships and second level is putting the parts together entirely.
There are various types of capital ships with various functions from wartime to peace time and their size and tonnage puts them in a league of their own in price, captaining, fielding, impact, outfitting, and warfare.
All capital ships, with the exception of freighters are equipped with jump drives allowing them to navigate between solar systems without needing to use star gates. Indeed only the Jump Freighter class vessels are even capable of using star gates.
Because capital ships do not all fit in the same tonnage or even roles there is no other real disction shared between all capital ships types and thus any individual distinction on hulls will be described in sub catagories the capital ships fall into.

Super Capital Ship Classifcation
Super capital ships differ from normal capitals by simply being far too large to be constructed in normal shipyards installed in stations. Special slips have to be deployed to facilitate the final construction to construct the ship in space and the process takes a long time to assemble.
