Summary

Lack of updates to Alliance logos in game.

The issue of custom Alliance Logos not being processed by CCP has been raised by Hardin over a year ago. CCP replied that they would overhaul the process to make it more streamlined, however there are still alliances waiting a long time for their logos.

This issue has been brought up many times by many alliances. Alliance Logos are something which is essential for players in a player-driven game to associate themselves with, and in my opinion this is an issue CCP needs to look into urgently.

Other games, such as Aion, have a much better procedure to allow this kind of player created content to be implemented in the game, and CCP might want to look into this as well.

Solution

Request that the CSM ask CCP what is being done about implementing new Alliance logos.

Pros

  • Adds branding to Alliances
  • Makes TCU images less sucky since there actual Alliance logos on them
