Summary

An issue raised by players time and time again, including those engaged in the pursuit on a daily basis, is that 0.0 sovreignty wars are boring and unfun. This item will seek to determine some of the causes of this and potentially begin a dialogue whereby improvements can be made

Potential Solution

  • Create ability to compress POS fuel
  • Remove the need for Pos’s entirelyPros
  • Increase the need for varying fleet sizes/types required for conquering mechanic

Pros

  • Adds an element of strategy
  • Decreases Logistical Burden on sov holders
  • Adds a bit of variety and differentiation in skill required
  • Many people simply seem to hate pos’s

Cons

  • Increases the burden on emerging powers widening the divide between haves and have nots
  • Makes it easier to concentrate multiple regions in the hands of one power
  • Greatly changes the existing dynamic
  • Difficult to determine an acceptable new mechanic
