A [[Warp_Disrupt_Probe|Warp disrupt probe]] provides a static [[Interdiction_bubble|interdiction bubble]].  Interdiction bubbles are launched by [[Item_Database:Ships:Destroyers:Advanced_Destroyers:Interdictors|interdictors]], allowing them to stop fleets in their tracks by preventing them from warping off.   Interdiction fields are also capable of being launched by [[Item_Database:Ships:Cruisers:Advanced_Cruisers:Heavy_Interdictors|Hictors]] as well, though those are mobile and capable of being turned off.


Warp scrambling is a deceptive term.  The area of effects DOES NOT affect the use of Micro Warp Drives, rather it interferes with the Warp Engine of EvE ships, not the use of MWD's
