== History ==

Solaris Project is a relaxed allround corporation founded by Irana Alar in 2009 with around 20 members. This grew steadily until Jan 2010 with around 60 members. This provided a good base with numbers steadily building to over 150 by July 2010. A big recruiting drive in Sep 2010 saw this number increase the corp size to over 250 members in less than 3 months. By the time Irana resigned as CEO in may 2011, Solaris Project had 375 members in it. After Irana left, Dragonhelm III was CEO. But due to real life constraints, he had to hand CEO over to Waren Bufet. He has been CEO since late 2011. 

Solaris Project was until March 2011 a member of the Apocalypse Now. Alliance. Which in turn is an ally of [[Curatores_Veritatis_Alliance|Curatores Veritatis Alliance]] ([[CVA|CVA]]). This gave us a massive player base and access to the sovereign held territories and stations held by [[CVA|CVA]] in [[Providence|Providence]]. 

However, in March 2011 during a restructuring of Apocalypse Now. Solaris left the alliance and thus Irana Alar(CEO), Dragonhelm III(Director) and Engineer GER funded the creation of our own alliance. Whilst retaining "Blue" relations with our previous alliance. In late 2011, Solaris Project handed executor over to Gloriaa of Nothing But Trouble.


Irana returned to CEO Position some time in march 2012 under her command Solaris saw resurgence of members then decided to move into the unknowns of WH Space in Oct of 2012. Solaris saw a shrinkage in the following months, due to the new focus on WH's, some less then pleasant internal issues, a secession of a few corp members 

relinquishing her duty to rudebwoyjohn in Nov of 2013.

==Corporate Ideology==

Our corp offers alot of freedom towards members. You're free to go where you like, you can do anything, as long as it's within the rules and Maintain your POS. As a result, you're also free to stage your own ops together with members as going solo sucks.

The leadership coordinates large events, and conduct diplomacy, with other corps

Solaris Project has a rich history, with many successful opps being held, we strive to be the more efficient with every new mission

The leadership has in some way or another experience in all aspects of EVE, from Research to mining to missioning and PvP and if the leadership doesn't know about certain aspects, the members surely do!
