The Placid Summit was a meeting spearheaded in part by [[Vremaja Idama]] in YC 108 between Intaki capsuleer corporations about the state of the Intaki system and the Placid regions.  Concerns at the summit included the security of the system, anti-piracy operations and tensions between pro-Federation and pro-secession factions.  Present were [[Placid Reborn (Player corporation)|Placid Reborn]], INTAKI UNION, Krysalis Industries and an agent of the alliance The Kimotoro Directive (which included the [[Caldari Navy Independent Reserve (Player corporation)|Caldari Navy Independent Reserve]] and APEX Unlimited, Caldari corps who at the time were operating in Plaid in cooperation with the Gallentians.
