One of the joys of capital ships used to be the blinding light, the bang of the warp portal opening up and the woosh as you fly through. Now it is a small, weak effect that seems woefully inadequate to the power it wields.

Return to the old awe-inspiring cyno effect or implement a new one that is equally as impressive.

A new cyno effect was announced by CCP t0rfifrans in a [http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=2402 dev blog].  The new effect is a WIP and is scheduled to be released shortly (within a week of the dev blog being released).
