Deep Explorations Projects and Programs is a German corporation founded in late 2007. It currently consists of 68 members and was a member of [http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Sev3rance_(Player_alliance) Sev3rance] until recent times.

The corporation was initially created to provide new players in [[EVE_Online|EVE Online]] with some experience and guidance and then release them into [[New_Eden|New Eden]] with a good headstart. However, people soon began to feel at ease with staying in the corpoation, and a real community emerged that has continued to gain more momentum.

After a rather short campaign into [[Lowsec|lowsec]] DEPP (an acronym which could be translated as dork) decided to apply to [http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Sev3rance_(Player_alliance) Sev3rance]. Since then, DEPP has maintained a broad spectrum of activities including [[PvP|PVP]], mission-running and manufacturing.

Leaving [http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Sev3rance_(Player_alliance) Sev3rance] in March 2009 DEPP have once again taken their fate in their own hands. Most members had established in the game and wanted to try new & dangerous things. Something that could not be brought inline with the ethics of Providence-NRDS-Space. Although many D.E.P.P.-Members still have a hidden corner in their hearts for these roleplaying lunatics :). 

After a few months in Derelik Lowsec the corp tried to search the promised land, a place to call home. They thought they found it whithin the alliance "Event Horizon", residing in Fountain under the roof of "Pandemic Legion". Fountain as one of the richest corners of space promised well beeing and riches. Later on, the corp does not like to be remembered of that time.

"EZ" turned out to be a horrible alliance with horrible FC´s & fleet doctrines. And the Overlord PL gave a shit about its Pets in Fountain, like they always do. Promising to organize the defense of their region to all inhabitants, they left all their allies alone in shame against the invading IT-Alliance. Obviously they had inside-knowledge of the upcoming changes with Dominion (Sov-Mechanics and SC-Buff), as it turned out that they had ran dozens of CSAA in locked down constellations in Fountain, preparing the largest Titan&Supercarrier-Fleet of all times, ready to deploy from the 1st day of Dominion.

D.E.P.P. retreated to Aridia, leaving a lot of assets in a hellcamped PNQ-Station. It was time to reach for new horizons, and there a promising light arose. For the next 15 months D.E.P.P. found a new home and many friends known until today inside the german "ev0ke"-block. Lots of fierce battles, glorious victories largely outnumbered against huge enemies like the old NC or Goonswarm followed.
