==Introduction==
The [[Hurricane|hurricane]], commonly called a 'cane, is a Minmatar [[Battlecruiser|battlecruiser]]. It is highly versatile and can be fit a variety of ways, although most pilots will want to take advantage of its two bonuses that increase medium projectile turret damage.

|FittingsPurpose=All purpose beginner solo battlecruiser class PvP ship.
|SkillInformation=Can fit with minimal skill (provided you do not use the T2 modules), but skills that improves gunnery, drones, shields, and propulsion will help out greatly.
|Hints=As a shield fitted PvP ship, you will have a much higher speed compared to a armor tanked ship.  With that in mind, unless the opponent is carrying a stasis webifier to slow you down or are carrying an afterburner, against another battlecruiser class ship, you should be able to out speed them.  Using your auto cannons' generous falloff range, you will have range flexibility nearly unmatched, striking anything up to 20km still with decent damage.  A few notes in mind:<br>
# '''Utility Slot'''<br>While the 2 spare top slots are filled with medium energy neutralizers, you are free to replace them with Heavy Assault Missile Launchers or Heavy Missile Launchers for an additional boost in DPS.  The latter might be very hard to fit unless you have excellent fitting skills.  You can also replace them with energy nosferatu (or 1 nos and 1 neut)if you feel like you need more capacitor or are expecting some energy neutralizing opponents.<br>
# '''Tank Explanation'''<br>The 2 slot shield tank is optimized for maximum effective HP, but you are free to switch out the invulnerability field for another Large Shield Extender at the cost of losing 1,000 effective HP and increasing your signature radius by a bit (increases damage slightly).  But by removing the invulnerability field, you can gain an extra minute or so with all modules running at the same time.<br>
