Penalty: -60% to rate of mining on mining lasers
This ship with its 6 High slots ''seems'' ideal for ''mining in dangerous areas'' however, it does not have sufficient CPU capacitiy.
You should upgrade to an Osprey cruiser as soon as you can afford the cost.

I've been trying to locate where I saw this penalty, but have not been able to find it yet. My comment may be in error. I will continue to try and confirm it however, it would be wise to monitor your mining production and verify it for yourself.
